In Thai, the word "Khao Kang" means curry over rice. As simple as it sounds, it is one of the most popular Thai local food for over 100 years. "Khao" refers to hot steamed jasmine rice that sits beneath the spicy curry; stew (pa-lo); or cleared soup, in other words, "Kang."
This combination usually compliment with sauteed dishes like fried garlic pepper pork, Pad Cha, or fried egg. The choice would depend upon the spiciness of the Kang. And this is how we enjoy the local.
